As an integral member of the sales team you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive, service-driven relationships with our customers while generating new sales leads and maximizing current account sales. Candidates should possess the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate with a wide variety of personalities working in a fast paced, sales-driven environment. Highly qualified individuals will have 3 years’ experience coupled with 1 or more years of industry/dealer-related experience. This is an inside sales position with occasional travel requirements to tradeshows and territory visits.
Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain customer relationships to expand brand presence and product exposure in key territories
Provide customer service and technical support on a daily basis
Communicate with sales management on productivity and the marketplace
Manage inbound and outbound sales lead calls and convert into sales via phone and/or email
Work closely with marketing team to plan, schedule and execute dealer updates and PR’s
Establish and maintain given territory while hitting given sales targets
Investigates and resolves dealer problems with deliveries, warranties, invoices, and general accounting
Occasionally travel to tradeshows and/or territory visits
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Minimum 1- 2 years sales experience within Powersports industry preferred by not required
Existing relationships with key accounts helpful
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High level customer service experience with an ability to process calls and orders promptly and accurately
Highly motivated, friendly and positive attitude
Exceptional organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong MS Office proficiency
This is reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager and is an hourly position and is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Limited travel may be required for events and trade shows.
